Wooden watches
Yes, Bettél watches are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase for any manufacturing defect. This warranty does not cover daily wear and tear, abuse or damage caused by misuse or if the watch comes into contact with water. Please keep your proof of payment as an indicator of your warranty.
The watch is fixed on a small wooden piece in the middle of the wooden box. To remove the watch, slide your finger under the wooden plate and pull up. The small wooden plate can then be removed from its holder as well as the watch. See the images below:
No. Bettél watches are not waterproof. However, if the watch should be splashed with water, simply dry it with a soft cloth.
Bettel watches with Japanese Miyota 2035 movement use a SR626SW battery. The Swiss movement Ronda 726 uses a V364 battery.
You can have the battery replaced at any specialist store. You also have the option of returning the watch to us to have the battery replaced.

Yes. Bettél watches are natural products. Great care is taken when machining the housing. However, it is possible that the case may have very small visual imperfections. This has no impact on the proper functioning of the watch, and is not subject to exchange.

Yes, the refill can be easily replaced by separating the two wooden parts of the pen and unscrewing the refill. Cross type refills can be purchased in any good stationery store.

Silver jewellery
No. We can only offer you the jewellery available in our online shop.
The jewellery is made of 925 silver, 925 yellow gold plated silver and 925 pink gold plated silver.
If your jewellery tarnishes or gets dirty, simply clean it with a soft cloth and a plated silver cleaner, a generic jewellery cleaner, or simply hot water, a sponge and soap. Many other practical tips are available on the Internet.
To prevent necklaces and chains from looking dull, try to keep them away from body lotions and perfumes.
All gold-plated jewellery should be removed when exercising, swimming and showering.

The bags are made of natural cotton or jute fibres. Please note that all products are handmade and that variations may occur. No two products will be exactly the same. When we pack our products, we often fold them. Thanks to the manufacture of cotton products, it is easy to bring the products back to their original shape.
Cotton is grown locally in South Africa by farmers who are members of the Better Cotton Initiate (BCI).
Paintings on canvas
We ship the painting without stretcher frame. The painting is rolled up and placed in a cardboard tube to protect it and facilitate shipping.
