The young designer Thabile Dubula was born in 1986 in Butterworth, Eastern Cape. The city is predominantly black, and Xhosa is spoken there.

The passion
Passionate about creativity, Thabile received in 2012, the opportunity to do a 3-year “Art & Design” training with a young renowned jewellery designer in Cape Town. This training was supported and funded by a European company whose objective is to support South African artists from disadvantaged suburbs known as “Township”.
The material
925 silver is the basic material used for the creation of “Thabile Jewellery”. A yellow or pink gold plating is used to enhance its collection in order to offer an attractive range of jewellery. Mother-of-pearl pieces complete some pendants or rings recalling the link between the people of Cape Town and the ocean.
